Yes, your Locomo unit is registered to you personally, but it can be transferred between machines. Please log-in to your mobile app and select ‘Ownership Transfer’ and to transfer ownership of the device to a new user if you sell or lease your vehicle to a third person. All Locomo devices come pre-installed with an active data-plan SIM Card from Nepal Telecommunications Corporation (NTC). The SIM card will be under our ownership.

Locomo has its own internal battery backup, so it only draws almost no power from your vehicle’s battery, and draws extremely minimum power only when it needs it.

No, everything is included for the first year free of cost, so there’s no extra charge. Once you start the subscription after 1 year of cost-free usage, all such costs too are inclusive of your annual subscription fee. So as long as your subscription is valid, your vehicle is always protected.

Your Locomo device will notify you on your mobile phone via the app alert or text message of the movement. If theft is confirmed, you can tap SOS Police on your mobile device to send location of your vehicle to Nepal Police Command & Control so that the local police can intercept your vehicle swiftly.

Locomo mobile app and device subscription for the first year of usage after installation is free of charge. Subscription Fee of NRs. 99 per month or NRs. 1188 Per Year is payable to the service provider exactly 1 year after the installation and activation of the technology  and mobile app, and failure to pay the subscription renewal fee after 1 year will result in discontinuation of services.

No, there are no hidden fees. You do not pay any subscription fee for the first year. After the first year, NRs. 1188 annual subscription fee covers all your unlimited data, SMS and maps cost.

GPS signal obstruction occur when physical structures prevent GPS satellite signals from reaching the users. These obstacles include, but are not limited to: buildings, underground parking lots, mountain, trees, crowds, weather etc.

Yes, as long as your Smart Watch is connected to your phone via Bluetooth, you get all your Locomo alerts on your Smart Watch too.

Any issues with the Locomo mobile app are resolved swiftly by the Locomo engineers and requires no action from users and subscribers. If you think your device has stopped working please take the following steps.

Step 1: Go to the settings page and check your free 1 year period is active.

Step 2: If after 1 year, subscription has expired, renew the subscription by paying the annual fee.

Step 3: If your annual fee is paid and subscription is active, please take your vehicle to the dealer/service center where you purchased and installed the device. The technicians at the center will check the device and will either repair or replace free of cost if it is within the warranty period of 2 years.

Step 4: If the warranty is expired, service centers will try to repair the device at a minimum cost or replace the device at cost.
